In these Terms and Conditions;
“EHF” refers to the European Handball Federation, non-profit organisation registered under the laws of Austria, having its headquarters at Hoffingergasse 18, 1120 Vienna, Austria.
“EHF activities” refers to the aims of the European Handball Federation to develop and promote handball in Europe in accordance with its Statutes (http://www.eurohandball.com/ehf/regulations).
“EHFamily Portal” refers to the EHF database made available on the NAME OF THE WEBSITE which contains data necessary to be viewed, downloaded, exchanged and stored in order to ensure the carrying out of the EHF activities.
“Users” refers to any third party accessing, browsing and/or using, free of charge, the EHFamily Portal, such as, without limitation, national federations, clubs, referees, delegates, lecturers, commission members, journalists, photographers etc. Downloading documents shall be regarded as a use of the EHFamily Portal.
“Contact details” refers to the set of personal data necessary to enable Users to contact and be contacted, such as, without limitation, telephone number, email address, home address, website etc.
The EHFamily Portal (hereinafter also referred to as the “Site”) of the European Handball Federation (hereinafter also referred to as the “EHF”) provides a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to viewing, downloading, exchanging and storing of documents and contact details relating to the EHF activities. Access to, and use of, the EHFamily Portal is governed by the present Terms and Conditions. By accessing, browsing and/or using EHFamily Portal and its services provided, you acknowledge that you have read the Terms and Conditions contained herein, and that you accept and will be bound by the terms thereof. Access control is based on a check of combination of ID and password.
Access and use of the personal contact details is limited to Users having a direct interest in light of their involvement with persons whom contact details are accessible within the framework of the EHF activities (e.g. match organisation, course administration etc.). Those contact details are available to the respective Users for a limited period of time defined by the EHF to ensure the proper carrying-out of the respective EHF activities.
Besides, within the scope of EHF activities purposes and for non-commercial use, the EHF is entitled to use, free of charge, and to transfer any of the EHFamily Portal uploaded content and data (e.g. player information, player or team photos) .
You hereby acknowledge that you have authority to act on behalf of the legal entity for which you use the EHFamily Portal.
You agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Terms and Conditions with respect to our EHFamily Portal. This Agreement constitutes the entire and only agreement between the EHF and you for the use of the services provided on the EHFamily Portal. This Agreement may be amended at any time by us from time to time without specific notice to you. The latest Agreement will be posted on the Site, and you should review this Agreement prior to using the Site. Amendments shall take effect immediately following the posting on the Site.
The EHFamily Portal does not guarantee the accuracy of information as such information are provided by external sources (e.g. Users) and accepts no responsibility or liability for any consequences arising from the use of such data.
Though the EHF uses the best technical standards to control its EHFamily Portal, material and content on the EHFamily Portal may inadvertently contain bugs, technical inaccuracies or other errors, problems or limitations. We and our affiliated parties involved in creating, producing or delivering the EHFamily Portal and its content shall have no liability whatsoever for your access to, or use of, the EHFamily Portal and its content. In particular, but without limitation, we and our affiliated parties are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages (including damages for loss of business, loss of profits, litigation, or the like). The negations of damages set forth above are fundamental elements of the basis of the bargain between us and you. The EHFamily Portal and the information would not be provided without such limitations.
We should be grateful if Users could notify us of any errors or inaccuracies they may find. Please note that Users access, browse and/or use the EHFamily Portal at their own risk. The EHF does not warrant that the functional aspects of the EHFamily Portal will be uninterrupted or error free or that the EHFamily Portal, or the server that makes it available, are free of viruses or other harmful components. The EHF may change material on the EHFamily Portal without prior notice.
We reserve the right in our sole discretion to edit or delete any documents, information or other content appearing on the EHFamily Portal without notice.
The EHF shall not be held responsible shall the EHFamily Portal not be available and/or accessible temporarily and/or definitively at any time and for any reason. In addition, the EHF reserves the right to shut down the EHFamily Portal without prior notice.
The content provided on the EHFamily Portal is intended for EHF activities purposes and non-commercial use of its Users. Consequently, the EHF grants the permission to Users to access, browse and/or use the portal and download content for EHF related activities purposes only. The EHF does not grant the right to sale or redistribute any of the content from its EHFamily Portal or to compile or create derivative works from content.
It is hereby recalled that within the scope of EHF activities purposes and for non-commercial use, the EHF is entitled to use, free of charge, and to transfer any of the EHFamily Portal uploaded content and data.
The content, organisation, graphics, design, compilation, magnetic translation, digital conversion and other matters related to the EHFamily Portal are protected under applicable copyrights, trademarks and other proprietary (including but not limited to intellectual property) rights. The copying, redistribution, use or publication by you of any such matters or any part of the EHFamily Portal is strictly prohibited. You do not acquire ownership rights to any content, document or other materials viewed through the EHFamily Portal. The posting of information or materials on the EHFamily Portal does not constitute a waiver of any right in such information and materials.
For content of the EHFamily Portal and covered by intellectual property rights such, without limitation, pictures, images, photographs and videos, Users uploading such content grant the EHF a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty free, worldwide licence to use such content in connection with EHF activities (e.g. website, media guides for competitions and matches, sport report etc.).
Other product and company names mentioned on the EHFamily Portal and/or its content may be trademarks of their respective owners.
The EHFamily Portal and its content may contain links to other websites. The EHF is not responsible for the content, accuracy or opinions express in such websites, and such websites are not investigated, monitored or checked by the EHF. Consequently, inclusion of any linked website on the portal or in its content does not imply approval or endorsement of the linked website by the EHF. The visit of those other websites remains at the Users’ sole risk.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold us and our partners, staff and affiliates harmless from any liability, loss, claim and expense, including reasonable fees incurred within the frame of legal proceedings, related to your violation(s) of the present Agreement or use of the EHFamily Portal. For the sake of clarity, and without limitation, the fact for Users to provide any inaccurate information or to provide content covered by intellectual property rights without being legally entitled to do so constitute violations of the present Agreement.
Your right to use the EHFamily Portal is not transferable. Any password, ID or right given to you to grant you an access to the EHFamily Portal is not transferable.
Users agree that, site layout, contact details, design, images, programs, text and other information as well as passwords and ID given by the EHF to enable access to the EHFamily Portal are and will be considered to be confidential information.
Users agree that it will not disclose to any third party, or use for any purpose other than as contemplated by these Terms and Conditions, any of the confidential information except for any disclosures as are required by law, regulation, or court order.
The EHF agrees that bank details provided by the Users as well as passwords and ID provided by the EHF for the purpose of the EHF activities will be considered to be confidential information.
The EHF agrees that it will not disclose to any third party, or use for any purpose other than as contemplated by these Terms and Conditions, any of the confidential information except for any disclosures as are required by law, regulation, or court order.
By accessing the EHFamily Portal, certain information about Users, such as internet protocol (hereinafter also referred to as “IP”) addresses, navigation through the EHFamily Portal, software used and time spent, as well as other similar information, will be stored on the EHF servers. These will not specifically identify Users and the information will be used internally for website traffic analysis only. If Users provide unique identifying information, such as name, address and other information on forms stored on the EHFamily Portal, this information will be used for statistical purposes only and will not be published or made available for general access.
The EHF does not sell or rent its website Users' names, addresses, email addresses or other personal information.
Users have the right to request the EHF to access to the personal data information being in its possession as well as to request the EHF to rectify and/or erase personal data information.
Users requesting such rights shall provide a proof of their identity and must undertake their best effort to cooperate with the EHF.

The EHF logo is owned by the EHF and a protected trademark. You may not modify or create derivatives of the EHF logo.
Access to the EHFamily Portal is provided from Vienna, Austria.
This Agreement shall be treated as though it were executed and performed and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria. All actions shall be subject to the limitations set forth here above. The language in this Agreement shall be interpreted as to its fair meaning and not strictly for or against either party. All legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be brought solely before the competent courts of Vienna, Austria. You expressly submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of said courts. Should any part of this Agreement be held invalid or unenforceable, that portion shall be construed consistent with applicable law and the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. To the extent that anything in or associated with the EHFamily Portal is in conflict or inconsistent with this Agreement, this Agreement shall take precedence. Our failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision nor of the right to enforce such provision.
